Angela Staffa
Angela Staffa began her career as a product manager in the textile industry before turning to real estate development, interior design, and her passion for vintage furniture. In 2012, she discovered a forgotten technique in a mid-century furniture piece, which she refined over several years and successfully patented. In late 2024, the technology received official patent protection and will now be presented for the first time at Milan Design Week 2025.
Werner Aisslinger
Werner Aisslinger designs for brands such as Vitra, Moroso, Dedon, Cappellini, and Kaldewei. His material-focused design objects are featured in collections at the MoMA and the Metropolitan Museum in New York, the Fonds National d‘Art Contemporain in Paris and the Vitra Design Collection. His solo exhibitions blend utopia and social critique with a touch of humor. His office, studio aisslinger, based in Berlin and Singapore, increasingly focuses on spatial design projects, including coworking spaces, hotels, malls, and immersive storytelling spaces, such as the Fotografiska Museum in Berlin.
Werner Aisslinger’s visionary seat shell designs are crafted to appear proportionate and aesthetically pleasing in both high and low seating positions. The 2-in-1 chair cork is a voluminous, organic all-round chair made from an upcycled cork composite.
